Flour & Barrel is a guest-focused Italian kitchen, cocktail bar, and brewery in downtown Raleigh, built around the old meaning of hospitality love of the stranger. Our catering brings that same spirit to your table, wherever you're gathering. Led by Executive Chef Katsuji Tanabe (Top Chef, Chopped) alongside Chef de Cuisine Matthew Parker, our team makes pastas and breads from scratch and turns them into food people remember long after the plates are cleared.

We don't sell cookie-cutter packages. Instead, we build a custom menu around your event - the headcount, the room, the vibe, and the food you actually want to serve. Whether it's a tray of pasta dropped off for a staff lunch or a full-service spread with on-site staff and a bartender, we scale the experience to fit. Want to see what we're known for first? A few things to know: we ask for at least 24 hours' notice (more is always better for larger or full-service events), and there's a $200 minimum for delivery orders. The earlier you reach out, the more we can do — especially for private chef experiences and buyouts.
